MDMX Games ("we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy of our users ("user" or "you"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you play our game, Unstable Dynamics, on Meta Quest devices.
We do not collect personal details such as your name, email address, home address, or phone number. Unstable Dynamics is a single-player experience that does not require account registration with MDMX Games.
To understand how the game is played, the game collects anonymous gameplay statistics. These are described in full in the next section and cannot be used to identify you.
To improve Unstable Dynamics and decide what to build next, the game collects anonymous statistics about how it is played:
What identifies you: nothing personal. A random installation ID is generated on your headset. We never collect your name, email address, Meta account details, or location, and we cannot tell who you are from this data. Because the data is delivered over the internet, our analytics provider technically receives your IP address; it is discarded and is not stored with your data.
Where it goes: the data is processed for us by PostHog and stored on servers in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). We keep it for up to 1 year.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the game is played so we can improve it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Our application is built using the Unity Engine. Unity may collect certain technical data (such as device model, graphics card, and operating system) to optimize performance. You can read Unity’s privacy policy here: https://unity3d.com/legal/privacy-policy
Additionally, the game runs on the Meta Quest Platform. Meta collects data regarding your usage of their device and store. Please refer to Meta’s Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.
Our gameplay analytics provider, PostHog, is described in section 3.
Unstable Dynamics does not require an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The gameplay statistics described in section 3 are anonymous and cannot be used to identify or contact any player.
You can turn gameplay analytics off at any time in the in-game Settings panel ("Analytics: Off"). Opting out stops collection immediately and deletes any unsent data stored on your headset.
Because the statistics are anonymous, we cannot look up which data belongs to which player. Collected data is automatically deleted at the end of the retention period. If you have a privacy question or request, including your right to object to this processing under GDPR, contact us using the details below.
